ProtoMon Lite is a free network monitoring tool that will automatically check your server using the HTTP or ICMP(Ping) protocol and notify you if it is down.
If a server is down, ProtoMon will perform some of these actions:
- display a pop-up notification window.
- play a sound.
- send a notification e-mail message.
ProtoMon can do some additional actions, such as check the Internet connection or filter the downloaded content.
ProtoMon stores full monitoring statistics, and draws it anytime both in text and chart forms.
