Freecon is a freeware utility for fast eDirectory-enabled access to the NetWare server console that that uses IPX and TCP/IP. Due to the custom compression algorithm, the program makes it possible to work effectively over very slow and overloaded Internet and WAN connections. Users can discover servers via SLP, view and work on many console screens of a single server, switch easily between servers and create shortcuts to servers. No server-side installation required. Unlike the DOS-based RConsole, Freecon does not overload Windows and supports NetWare 4.x, 5.x, 6.x and OES NetWare.

Hi Scott and Andrew,I specifically made a new cectaarhr on Earthen Ring with the intent of joining The Legion of Cain. Even made my first Horde player to do this. At level 15 I was finally able to find someone who could get me into the guild. Now at level 36 I can count on one hand the number of times that I have seen more than two guild members online (Mon-Fri 8:00AM 11:00AM). Now I am not going to check constantly when I am on, but I do check when I log in. I have had three other people ask me if I can get them into the guild, but that I can not do, nore can I point them to someone online who can (I am often the only guild member online). The only real benefit so far is that I no longer get all the invites to join other guilds.I guess there are two parts to this:1. Being in the guild is not much better than running solo. There is no one that I can call on to help with those quests that I simply can not do alone. There is no one to share drops with, there is no online friendship that I have had in guilds on other servers.2. I can't help others that may help improve the guild get into the guild. A catch-22 situation where I can't help to fix the problem.It appears that the LOC guild is mostly filled with people who started a cectaarhr on Earthen Ring just to join the guild but not play on the server. This makes sense given the normal queue wait time, but now that I have a cectaarhr that I want to play (even with the login wait), it would be nice to have others to play with.Rowanda on EarthenRing Guild Member The Legion of Cain. |
