Clipboard Agent was originally designed to be a text to speech utility that reads from the clipboard.
It has been expanded to read aloud and auto increment verses of the Bible.
All bibles were downloaded from bibledatabase org and converted into a format suitable for this program. I cannot guarantee that there are no mistakes in any of these Bibles. As far as I know they are complete and without error.
There are options usefull for the visually impared but also allow the user to view and interact with the Agent from a distance.
The "Characters" dropdown menu at the top of the options form will allow you to save your character with the options: Voice type, speed, pitch, and character size.
If you do choose to change the speed, pitch, or character size, you have to activate that override by clicking on the frame caption, "Agent Override Inactive", which will set it as active. The override is saved when the character profiles are saved.
When the program is run it loads the agent character set as Windows Default. You can change the dafault character by clicking the "Set as default" button on the options form. You can get to the options form by right-clicking the character and selecting it from the menu.
There are many other freeware characters that can be found on the Microsoft Agent Web Ring.
There are other characters and voices that can be downloaded from msagentring org or microsoft com
The current installs profiles work with e-woman and peedy, but other profiles can be created fairly easy. Each character is 2-6 mb roughly.
They should install into the
C:WINDOWSMSAGENTCHARS
directory. If there are any problems you can check there.
