e-MAN for Microsoft® Outlook® is a special add-in which organizes, sorts and classifies all the e-mail addresses existing in your mailbox. It does not matter whether these e-mail addresses are already stored in your Outlook contacts or not, because it maintains a separate contact list. e-MAN scans all the folders of your mailbox and creates its own contact list that contains all the addresses existing in the From/To/CC fields of your e-mails. It automatically updates this list with any new contacts that may be found in your recently incoming and outgoing e-mails.
It also keeps statistics about the frequency of communication among all of your contacts and then it presents, for each person a list of contacts (links) that have exchanged e-mails with the specific person. In particular, it classifies these links into three categories (weak, medium and strong) based on the number of the exchanged e-mails. The ability of e-MAN to discover the links among all the contacts in your mailbox is based on the fact that statistically, a large number of received e-mails are destined to a group of recipients. Therefore, for each such incoming e-mail, e-MAN records not only the transaction between you and the sender but also the transactions between the sender and the rest of the recipients!
Most importantly, e-MAN enables you to tremendously enlarge your e-mail community by importing the e-MAN databases (new contacts along with their links) of your partners or friends. e-MAN databases are small, encrypted files which are only handled by e-MAN tool and do not encompass any other e-mail information beyond the contacts along with their link factors.
It also sorts the contacts based on their domains (e.g. per organization, per company, per department, per country) and presents the best links between single contacts, departments, companies, countries, etc.
